About Us
The Kids Writing Club began in August of 2004 and has been around now for nearly 4 years.
A Brief History
In late July 2004, the Kids Writing Club was started. However, back then it wasn't called KWC. It was called Kids-write and had the website kids-write.com. That only lasted for half a month before the Kids Writing Club message board and website were created. The current Kids Writing Club message board is the same as the kids-write message board with the URL changed.
Major Marks in History
• August 7, 2004, the KWC board was given it's new name and some forums.
• August 8, 2004, the board recieved it's first 3 posts and 1st member (Danny) joined!
• August 12, 2004, first PMs were sent.
Registration Stats
• The most registrations on a single day was March 5, 2005 with 6 registrations in all.
• The most registrations in one week was in the 46th week of existance (the week of June 12th) with 22 registrations in all.
• The most registrations in one month was in June of 2006 with 60 registrations in all.
New Topic Stats
• The most new topics on a single day was August 6, 2005 with 27 new topics in all.
• The most new topics in a week was the 46th week of existance (the week of June 12th) with 97 new topics in all.
• The most new topics in a month was the month of June 2005 with 300 new topics in all.
Post Stats
• The most new posts in one day was August 7, 2005 with 338 new posts in all.
• The most new posts in a week was the 53rd week of existance (the week of August 7th) with 1,458 posts in all.
• The most new posts in a month was the month of August 2005 with 4,072 posts in all.
Topic Views
• The forum with the most topic views is Poetry and Songwriting with 52373 views in all.

I truly love how the skin matches your board to the fullest extent. The graphics fit, also, but I would recommend better buttons to better suit the idea. Maybe maybe a pen tip to the New Reply button, or something like that? It's just an idea.
Your board is truly one of the best-kept boards that I've seen. I haven't seen any kind of spam posts since I started reviewing your board. Truly an exceptional feat, indeed. Though you do need to try to get more active members, though. For the theme of your board, however, it's doing quite fine, because I hardly see anyone interested in a writing forum these days.
Keep up the good work! You have been doing an excellent job in making the board what it is today. Maybe next time, it'll be WOWed? Who knows.

Once again, I see this board doing a marvalous job at portraying its theme and keeping itself organised. No matter how outdated the skin is, it still blends perfectly with the theme and graphics. However, due to how old it is, I'd reccomend requesting a new one. As I stated before, the graphics match the skin perfectly, and keep the feel of the board going.
You have done a great job keeping your board clean of spam, and you have chosen a great, active staff. I do notice that your board layout needs a tad of work though. I would suggest moving the introductions area to the "writer hangout" category of the board. Remember, the first category of your board should only have the announcements and feedback areas inside of it, with the exception of any special contest you may be holding.
I see this board going nowhere but up. You have definatly captured your target audience, but the little things keep bringing you down from getting that top rated mark. Keep trying and I'm sure you'll reach it next time.

This is a very nice forum overall. The skin is good, a little plain but it matches your topic, that spine background image is genius. Maybe a more interesting Maintitle could spruce it up a bit. The graphics match the skin nicely, and also have a writers feel to them. Your idea is fantastic, and I've never seen another writing forum this great. The idea is unique and it was excecuted fantastically in this forum. You have an amazing post count, which shows that your staff and members are very dedicated and spend alot of time there. I'm a member too, and there are always people on The forums are organized nicely, and the contest sections is a nice addition. You could have more members, but its nothing you have to worry about, the members you have are very dedicated and love your forum. I can tell that this writing forum will go far, and it's already extremely successful, great job!

Let me be the first to congratulate you on hitting the Hall of Fame! Well deserved. You have a very nice forum. Amazing skin, nice graphics. Your member base could stand some improvement, but it is definitely at a sufficient level. Your post count is good, but needs to rise as your member base does. Activity is great. You and the staff do a great job running the forum. Your layout flows nicely, and your members seem happy with the place. One thing I would recommend that would improve your appearance and appeal score would be to get new forum markers. The ones that you have now aren't bad, but they are fairly simple, and also, may make your forum appear less active than it is. When a member or guest is scrolling through the forum and keeps seeing the word "Old," it can be a big turn-off. Other than that, everything is great. Keep up the good work. Congratulations on making the Hall of Fame!
